acceptable use

What you may not do with eigenvideo. This policy forms part of the terms of service, and breaking it is grounds for suspension.

1. Scope

This policy applies to everyone who uses eigenvideo and to everything they upload, generate, store or distribute through it. It forms part of the terms of service. Where this policy uses a term defined there, it carries the same meaning.

2. Content you must not upload or generate

  • Material you do not own and are not licensed to use, including film, television, music, game footage, stock media and images belonging to someone else.
  • Child sexual abuse material of any kind, real or synthetic. This is reported to the authorities rather than merely removed, and the account is closed permanently and without notice.
  • Sexual material involving any person who has not consented to its creation or distribution, including material generated by altering an existing image or recording.
  • Material that incites violence, terrorism or self harm, or that promotes a proscribed organisation.
  • Material that harasses, threatens, bullies or defames an identifiable person.
  • Material that promotes hatred against a group defined by religion, race, caste, sex, place of birth, disability, sexual orientation or gender identity.
  • Material unlawful under the law of India or of the country you are in, including anything prohibited under section 67 of the Information Technology Act 2000.
  • Malware, exploit code, phishing material or anything designed to compromise a system or deceive a person into surrendering credentials.

3. Likeness, voice and synthetic media

You may not use the dubbing, translation, voice or reframing tools to make any real person appear to say or do something they did not, without that person's informed and documented consent.

This applies to public figures as much as to private individuals, and it applies whether the result is presented as genuine, as satire or as parody. A person's face and voice are protected in most countries by rights of publicity, personality or privacy that do not depend on copyright, and those rights survive whatever licence you hold in the underlying footage.

Where you publish synthetic or substantially altered media, label it as such wherever the law or the platform requires. Several jurisdictions now impose this obligation directly on the person publishing.

4. Conduct

  • Do not attempt to access another account, another user's files, or any part of the infrastructure you have not been granted access to.
  • Do not probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the Service, or defeat any authentication or rate limit, except under a written agreement with us.
  • Do not circumvent plan limits, including by registering multiple accounts to obtain additional free allowance.
  • Do not use automated means to access the Service beyond a documented interface, and do not scrape it.
  • Do not resell, sublicense or white label the Service without our written agreement.
  • Do not use the Service to build, train or benchmark a competing product.
  • Do not impose an unreasonable load on the infrastructure or interfere with another user's access to it.

5. Reporting

Report anything that breaches this policy to saad@networkzero.tech. Include a link or identifier, a description of the problem and how to reach you. Reports about copyright are handled under the copyright policy instead, which sets out what a notice must contain.

6. What happens if you break it

Depending on what happened and whether it has happened before, Network Zero may remove or disable the material, restrict a feature, suspend or close the account, retain evidence, and report the matter to law enforcement. Serious breaches, and anything involving material described in the second bullet of section 2, result in immediate and permanent closure without notice.

We will normally tell you what happened and give you a route to respond. Write to saad@networkzero.tech if you believe an enforcement decision was wrong, and a person will review it.

7. Changes

This policy changes as new forms of misuse appear. The date at the head of the page changes with it, and material changes are notified by email.
