copyright policy
How to tell us that something on eigenvideo infringes your rights, how the person who uploaded it can respond, and what happens to accounts that keep doing it.
last updated 4 September 2026
1. Our position
Network Zero respects copyright and expects its users to do the same. We remove material that is the subject of a valid notice, and we close the accounts of users who infringe repeatedly. We act as an intermediary in respect of material our users upload, and we do not review it before it is processed.
2. Sending a notice
Send a notice to saad@networkzero.tech with the subject line Copyright Notice. To be effective it must include all of the following, and an incomplete notice may not be acted on.
- A physical or electronic signature of the owner of the right, or of a person authorised to act for them.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or a representative list where the notice covers several works.
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it, which normally means a link or a file identifier.
- Your name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you believe in good faith that the use complained of is not authorised by the owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and, on penalty of perjury, that you are the owner of the right or authorised to act on their behalf.
Knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing can make you liable for damages, including costs and legal fees, under section 512(f) of the United States Copyright Act. Send a notice about material you do not own and you take that risk.
3. What we do with it
A complete notice is acknowledged within 24 hours. We remove or disable access to the material and tell the user who uploaded it, passing on a copy of the notice including your contact details, so send nothing you are not willing to have forwarded. Material identified in a valid notice is removed within 36 hours where the Intermediary Guidelines Rules 2021 require it, and otherwise expeditiously.
4. Counter notice
If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, send a counter notice to saad@networkzero.tech containing all of the following.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material removed and the location it occupied before removal.
- A statement, on penalty of perjury, that you believe in good faith the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, postal address and telephone number.
- A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal court for the district in which you live, or, if you live outside the United States, of any district in which we may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice.
We forward a complete counter notice to the person who sent the original notice. If they do not tell us within ten business days that they have filed an action seeking to restrain the activity, we may restore the material.
5. Repeat infringers
We maintain and enforce a repeat infringer policy. A notice that is acted on and not successfully countered is recorded as a strike against the account. Three strikes results in permanent closure, and we may close an account sooner where the infringement is flagrant or commercial in scale. Closure for this reason does not entitle you to a refund.
6. Trade marks and other rights
Complaints about trade marks, rights of publicity, personality or privacy, and about defamatory material, go to the same address and are handled under the acceptable use policy. Tell us the right you hold, where it is registered if it is registered, and what the material does that infringes it.
7. Grievance Officer
As required by the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules 2021, our Grievance Officer is Saad Basheer, reachable at saad@networkzero.tech, for Network Zero. Complaints are acknowledged within 24 hours and resolved within 15 days.
